Buell Motorcycles as a brand is one of the most misunderstood and maligned companies that ever existed within the United States. Even though Buell no longer manufactures production motorcycles in November 2009 Harley-Davidson and Buell announced the launch of Erik Buell Racing EBR. Similar in history to Preston Tucker Erik Buell really did produce over 130000 very well designed and somewhat quirky street and competition motorcycles. The following month Erik Buell launched a new company making racing bikes.
