Bmw R756. A sport model was offered as were disc brakes front only for the first time. Avus Black WWhite Pinstripes. This bike was hand built and restored by a local BMW expert. This was a problem from purchase and I just need some time to adjust and lube.
Ive ridden this bike 103000 miles so far and in 2005 I received a BWW 100000 mile award. With its 749cc engine the R756 confirmed BMWs ability to combine comfort and power. It has 50300 miles showing I have service history on the bike going back to 1997 and the original owners manual. My first BMW a 1975 R756 was purchased for cash 34 years ago in 1975 at BMW of Denver from the then owner Clem Cykowski. So then one day I had a BMW R756 1976 in front of me or more correctly I found one in at a local BMW dealer. This 1976 R756 PROJECT BIKE has not been serviced by another BMW dealer almost since it was new.
The 6 was finally liberated from storage and out for a ride to get all of the fluids flowing.
